PTO Meeting Minutes
Opening
Google meet meeting. The meeting started at 10am.
Introductions were done at the beginning of the meeting.
Discussion
1. Location for Pumpkin Palooza
a. Other CASLV Campus
a. Sandy Ridge. The principal has approved but the only problem is that there needs to be a
Sandy Ridge employee present to open campus for us. Still waiting for confirmation.
b. Galeria Mall. Leah has a contact and would be able to get us in.
1. The problem is, we might need additional INS.
2. Open to non-CASLV students.
3. Security and liability.
2. Flip N Out Xtreme Fundraiser
a. Time slot would be 12pm – 5pm
b. Can not be on an CCSD holiday
c. Can not be Friday – Sunday
d. Possible date: October on Teacher Development Day or Nevada Day.
3. General PTO meeting budget.
a. We spent ~ $300 at the last PTO meeting.
b. We will be setting a $150 budget for the upcoming meetings.
c. We need paper confirmation that we are allowed to cook our own food for the meeting from the
health department.
d. Create a donation bin for supplies for the meetings. Napkins, Plates, utensils, Etc.
e. Cheryl and Patty to call stores to get donations for “Walking tacos”.
4. PTO Store
a. Parents want to see what our revenue is at the store
b. We need to make an itemized list of what we have at the store and how much money each item
brings in after cost.
5. Teacher Development Day Snack/Food
a. We need to set a budget for what we will be spending when providing food or snacks for teachers
and staff on Teacher Development Days.
6. Reminder Stickers!
a. Creating stickers with PTO reminders (the sky is the limit) so that the teachers can put them on kids
before going home.
b. Better response to the stickers than the flyers or email!

PTO Meeting Minutes
Opening
Second General Meeting. Members started arriving at 1pm. Meeting started at 1:45pm.
Introductions were done at the beginning of the meeting. Cheryl introduced each board member
and what they do on the PTO board. PTO spotlight was done before discussion.
Discussion
1. Breakfast and lunch was provided by Einstein Brothers and Port of Subs for the teacher development
day for Friday August 30, 2024. We thank them for their donations.
2. Treasury Report
a. Current numbers were presented to the members.
b. Budget was voted on
i. Ashes 1
st motion and Dominique 2nd it. Then members voted and the Budget passed
unanimously.
3. Panda Fundraiser October 1st
a. On October 1st Panda Express (Location: 195 North Stephanie Street, Henderson, NV 89012)
will donate 20% of any orders placed using our event code. Flyers and emails were sent to
parents.
4. We have a Fundraiser Director!
a. Mary Dear. Welcome to the team!
5. All hands-on deck!
a. We need parents’ help to fund Pumpkin Palooza.
b. We have a goal of $6000.
c. Parents who attended in person went home with a packet. Inside the packet they can find a
donation request letter and vendor sign up letters to hand out to potential venders as well as
sponsorship packet sheet.
6. Volenteers for Pumpkin Palooza.
a. We need as many volunteers as possible. Sign up links and QR codes have been made for
anyone who wishes to sign up.
b. If we do not have enough volunteers we will have to cancel the event completely.

President thanked admin. The meeting ended at 2:17pm.
